How can I enroll in a course? What documents are required for enrollment?
You can register online on our website. To apply, you must:
- fill out an application form
- pay a deposit of 152 € or 400 € if you want accommodation
- provide 2 photos (passeport size)
When we receive these documents, we will send you a confirmation of registration.
The final balance must be paid on the first day of class.
How many students are in a class?
On average, there are 6 to 8 students, 12 maximum.
How many levels are there?
There are 4 levels: beginner, elementary, intermediate, and advanced.
What are the nationalities of the students?
In 2017, 52 nationalities were represented for 241 students. There is no dominant nationality among the students at CILFA.
What is the age range of the students?
The approximate average age is 32 years old. But we also welcome young people starting from age 18 as well as senior citizens.
What is the deadline to enroll in a course?
There is no deadline for enrollment, but if you want accommodation, we recommend that you enroll as soon as possible.
How do I know which class I will be in?
Upon your arrival at school, you will be given a written and oral placement test which will determine your group.
Is it possible to start when the course is already in session?
If you are not a complete beginner, you can start on any Monday of the session.
Complete beginners must start on the first day of the session.
Do I have to attend the entire session?
No. There are three 11-week sessions during the academic year, October through June. There are also 4-week sessions in July and August, and a 3-week session in September. It is always possible to attend a session for a shorter period of time.
What day and time are the classes?
The classes take place Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm
DELF exam preparation classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm.
