I chose CILFA based on the small class sizes, consistent teaching methods, and its reputation for excellent teachers. When I first began I was a rank beginner, speaking only a few words in French. The approach to teaching language at Cilfa was very effective for me and I was able to make steady progress. I have taken several courses at Cilfa throughout the past few years and each time I was impressed with the pace of the class and how they were modified to reach different levels of understanding of the language — from beginner to advanced. The teachers have all been very supportive and I have thoroughly enjoyed the classes — always a huge plus when learning a language!
